Cherish Designs (cherishdesigns.shop) is run by Cherish Design Love ("CDL", "we", "us"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them before you order.

1. Your photos

When you send us a drawing, photo or anything else to turn into jewelry, you confirm that:

• You made it, own it, or have permission to use it this way.
• If it shows other people, you have their permission, or a parent's or guardian's permission for a child.
• You understand our designers will interpret it as a piece of jewelry, so the result is inspired by your photo rather than an exact copy.

2. Placing an order

To start an order you fill in our order form, upload at least one photo and pay a $50 design deposit. You need to be at least 18, or have a parent's or guardian's permission. Please give us contact details we can reach you at. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

3. How the design works

• Our designer makes a design based on your photo and the choices you made on the order form.
• We send you the design along with its price. You can ask for changes as many times as you need.
• Nothing is made until you approve the design and pay the balance. Your $50 deposit counts toward the price.
• If you decide not to go ahead before approving a design, we refund your deposit. See our Refund Policy for details.

4. Making and delivery

Once you approve your design and pay, your piece is handmade and usually shipped within 4 to 8 weeks. These times are estimates, not guarantees. Holiday dates on our site are targets we work toward, and we'll tell you honestly if a date looks tight. We ship to the address you give us.

5. Materials

• Pendants are made in the metal you choose: sterling silver, 10K gold or 18K gold.
• Enamel colors are painted by hand, so small variations from the design drawing are normal and part of what makes each piece one of a kind.
• Gemstones we add are genuine.
• Our chains are plated, not solid silver or gold, and plating can wear over time. If plated jewelry irritates your skin, order the pendant only.

6. Engraving

We can engrave a short name, initials or date on the back of many pieces. How much fits depends on the size of your piece. We'll confirm the engraving on your design before anything is made.

7. Sharing finished pieces

You grant us a limited right to use your photos to design and make your jewelry. We may share photos of finished pieces, sometimes next to the original drawing or photo, on our website and social media. We cover faces of people before sharing. If you'd rather we didn't share yours, email us and we'll leave it out.

The designs our team creates remain our intellectual property. You own your finished piece and are free to wear, show and share it.

8. If something's wrong

In the rare case your piece arrives with a manufacturing defect, contact us and we'll repair or remake it at no cost to you.

9. $25 welcome offer

When you join our email list, you get $25 off your first piece. It's one per customer, applies to the price of your piece (not the $50 design deposit), and can't be combined with other offers or exchanged for cash. To use it, start your design with the same email you signed up with. We may change or end this offer at any time, but we'll honor it for anyone who signed up while it was running.

10. Limits of our liability

We aren't responsible for:

• Small differences between the design drawing and the handmade piece
• Delays caused by things outside our control
• Damage that happens after delivery
• Problems caused by incorrect information you give us, such as a wrong address

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply from the date they're posted here. Orders already in progress follow the terms that applied when you placed them.
